The IPL Products resolved the threat caused to the country's local farmers and thus been approved in Ethiopia for the commercial usage
Biopesticides have been the darlings of organic growers and gardeners for some
time now. And, promoted by Organic makers such as International Panaacea
Limited, they are increasingly finding their way into the mainstream farming.
These days, when sustainability counts, even traditional farmers are seeking to
lower organic residues on their crops. Thus major crop protection companies such
as International Panaacea limited is showing greater interest in combining
pesticides with organic chemical controls. That interest is good news for IPL,
which has been promoting an organic approach that encourages farmers to
remove the synthetic chemical load on crops by using biopesticides. IPL has its
presence in various fields of the world.
More recently, Products of IPL reached the Ministry of Agriculture, Ethiopia.
Products produced by IPL has been approved by the Ministry of Agriculture,
Ethiopia", whose verification was carried out by Ethiopian institute of Agricultural
Research for Commercial Usage.
Several Diseases have been threatening the production of crops in many parts of
Ethiopia and hence a control measure was warranted. The IPL Products resolved
the threat caused to the country's local farmers and thus been approved in
Ethiopia for the commercial usage. Variety of stringent tests and quality measures
were dealt since June 2010 and after resulting into an efficiency data, these
sanctions have been obtained and the products are demanded in the country.
The demand of natural Biopesticides is rising steadily in all parts of the world.
Public Awareness about the environment is increasing, while pollution and health
hazards due to synthetic chemicals are growing. Extensive and systematicresearch has enhanced the effectiveness of biopesticides, and as a result farmers
and growers are using them in greater quantities.
IPL products offer several advantages that make them attractive to the
environmentally conscious consumers. First and foremost, they are much safer
than conventional pesticides which, often doled out in large quantities, are
hazardous and dangerous chemicals.IPL products are very effective in smaller
quantities and they decompose at a much faster rate than synthesis, which
minimizes their impact on the environment.
While the overall market for pesticides is showing a decline, the biopesticides
market is growing rapidly, increasing from $672 million in 2005 to over $ 1 Billion
in 2010, at an AAGR of 9.9%. Pesticides offered by IPL have an increased usage
because they are environmental friendly. Biopesticides include microbial
pesticides, plant-incorporated protectants, and other which include natural
predators, entomopathogenic nematodes, and parasitoids
