
Indian Company handed over 2,500 Ha in Menze Gera

Lots of Indian company are coming to invest in Agriculture. Out of these,
unusually the Indian company named "Panaacea International Agro Industries Plc
has got 2,500 ha of land Amhara Region, North Shoa, Woreda - Menze Gera,
Kebele – Amed Guaya.
Since, this area is highly populated and seeing the rapid progress done by this
company in this area and seeing the further potential of the land the government
has come up with a new policy and decided to give big land to private investors in
this specific area. This Company "Panaacea International Agro Industries Plc has
received registered investment license from Ethiopian Investment Agency with
registered 172 million Birr Capital and has also been registered with Amhara
Natioanl Regional State. The Company has planned to use irrigation to grow
Cereals, vegetables, horticulture and Cattle rearing.
